RWTH Team Makes It into the Finals of the CFA Challenge
The RWTH Aachen University team has made it into the finals of this year's CFA Institute Research Challenge! Students Florian Braatz, Lutz Burghard, Susanne Plehn, Philipp Ryppa and Maximilian Tauchnitz were presenting the findings of their equity research report on BRAIN AG. The next generation analysts were mentored by Patrick Nass, who is a CFA charterholder in Germany, and Dr. Astrid Salzmann from the Chair of Business Administration and Finance in the School of Business and Economics at RWTH Aachen.
The CFA Institute is a global, non-profit association for investment professionals and financial analysts. The Research Challenge is a global competition that takes place annually. It entails students taking on the role of research analysts and preparing an equity report on a publicly traded company. To date, over 15,000 students from over 1,000 universities around the world have demonstrated their skills in the competition.
